Love Above the City: A Seattle Municipal Court Wedding Story

There’s a common misconception that courthouse weddings are "hushed" or "routine." But as a photographer who has spent countless hours weaving through the streets of downtown Seattle, I can tell you the truth: Courthouse weddings are some of the most electric, emotionally raw ceremonies you will ever witness.

Last week, I had the pleasure of capturing a ceremony at the Municipal Court of Seattle, and it reminded me exactly why I love this "untraditional" path.
